Fingerspelling (BSL)

Fingerspelling is a way of spelling words using various hand movements. If you are communicating with a D/deaf person that uses BSL you can use fingerspelling if you do not know what the sign is. See if you can learn how to fingerspell the alphabet below then practice spelling words:

Below is a quick video of some basic BSL greetings. Give it a go!!! Don't get frustrated if you don't pick it up straight away, but with a little bit of practice you'll be well on your way.
